We are truly blessed with an ever-growing “village” that surrounds Rainbow Village. If we were fortunate to count you among our supporters in 2024, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You’ve positioned our transitional housing community and transformational programs perfectly for some exciting growth to come – both physically on our campus and internally as an organization. With homelessness on the rise among families in Georgia, we are called to do more – which means we need more from our “village” beyond the Village. Grow With Us Through Our Capital Campaign
In 2024, we were proud to announce that we had purchased the land adjacent to our campus in the heart of Downtown Duluth, Georgia. That purchase – when combined with our three-year strategic plan – will pave the way for us to scale up and more than DOUBLE the number of families experiencing homelessness that we can house and serve! Our Building Homes, Building Hope Capital Campaign is off to an incredible start, but we’ll need the help of supporters like YOU to make our vision a reality for families in need. Make a One-Time Donation
Like most nonprofits, Rainbow Village relies on the generosity of people just like you. Monetary contributions are tax-deductible. DONATE NOW. The donation of items from our Amazon Wish Lists is another way to make an impact. Included among them are household goods that will make our apartments feel like home to an incoming family who has recently experienced the trauma of homelessness. Our Academy Wish List features items that will enhance our youngest residents’ afterschool or school break experience.
Become a Regular Supporter
To have a lasting impact on our organization and the families we serve, you can also sign on to become a recurring Transform365 monthly donor. Having your pledged support on a monthly basis goes a long way in helping us plan, budget, and provide life-changing programming to families in need as they pursue their individual journeys to self-sufficiency. BECOME A MONTHLY DONOR. To combine regular support with quarterly gatherings, you should consider becoming a part of our Women’s Giving Circle – which awards microgrants to a select number of residents and alumni at the end of each year. Volunteer Your Time and Talents
We love our volunteers at Rainbow Village and don’t know where we’d be without them! If you’d like to join our vibrant community of volunteers, we offer several ways to serve. We’re always looking for friendly new faces to support our Academy Program – whether offering homework help or facilitating a fun activity night. We offer Family Dinner Nights three times a month in our Community Center and need volunteers to prepare and serve meals so our families can attend Life Skills classes. Volunteers always enhance our events – like our annual Gala, Golf Classic, and quarterly Women’s Giving Circle gatherings. And, because our campus encompasses more than two acres, we often benefit from the help of volunteers to tackle landscape and beautification projects outdoors and apartment prep projects indoors to ready homes for incoming families. Become a Corporate or Faith Partner
It’s true what they say… “it takes a village.” While you as an individual can do so much, just imagine how much MORE you could do when multiplied many times over. Rainbow Village is always looking to expand our circle of Corporate and Faith Partners. Many of our Corporate Partners often sponsor our annual events or host team-building service days on our campus. However you choose to support Rainbow Village, we appreciate it more than you know! While it’s not listed above, two other impactful ways to back our organization and help us do MORE are: 1) to serve as an Ambassador by SPREADING THE WORD about Rainbow Village and our mission, and 2) to become a Prayer Warrior for our nonprofit and the families we serve.
