Rainbow Village Program Agreement

  • All school-age children must attend school, Rainbow Village’s after school program and all other children/youth programming provided.
  • Children must be supervised at all times. No school-age children are allowed to stay home alone without prior permission of the Case Manager.
  • Those family members not in school and of working age must be employed (or actively seeking employment) and are expected to follow the same program guidelines as the parent.
  • Those enrolled in vocational programs or college must continue to be enrolled and meet work requirements.
  • The family must have reliable transportation. Cars that are not in working order may not be parked on Rainbow Village premises for more than 30 days without permission of the Case Manager.
  • All referrals must be followed through with, must be continued, or pursued as recommended by the Rainbow Village Case Manager.
  • Life skills training program attendance is mandatory. All absences are considered unexcused and result in disciplinary action within the program.
  • Each family is responsible for submitting financial reports as required by the Financial Manager.
  • Rent (on a sliding scale) is due monthly by the 25th day of the month. Each family will receive a monthly statement detailing rent due.
  • If payments cannot be made, the Case Manager is to be advised before due date along with written confirmation of when payment will be received.
  • The family is responsible for maintaining their home, yard (with the exception of mowing), laundry rooms and common areas. All families work at least one workday per month.
  • No illegal drugs, alcohol or guns are allowed on the premises. Rainbow Village requires random drug testing of its adult residents.
  • No smoking inside the homes. All smoking materials must be disposed of properly so not to litter the grounds.
  • No pets allowed.
  • No overnight guests are allowed without prior permission from the Rainbow Village Case Manager.
  • If you require babysitters, you must submit a sitter’s information form and send it to the Rainbow Village Case Manager for prior approval.
  • All children must be in by 9:00 p.m. Adults are to be in no later than 11:00 P.M. on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) and midnight on weekends (Friday or Saturday). This curfew also applies to visitors. If you will be staying elsewhere or going out of town, prior to leaving you must notify the Case Manager of your departure and return date.
  • Participation in any of the programs at Rainbow Village is contingent on all program requirements being met.
  • Failure to comply with any of the requirements of Rainbow Village will result in a probation notice being issued.
  • Failure to correct the problems as stated by the designated date of notice will result in termination.
