Since families transition in and out of Rainbow Village, we are in need year round of complete furnishings for a new family moving into an apartment. Below is a list of the items it takes to furnish an apartment with a few “wish” items thrown in! Please note that we accept new and gently used items only. These items remain with each of our families and are theirs to take with them when they graduate from the Rainbow Village program. Furniture shouldn’t have any stains, rips, tears, burns or holes and because of allergies we can’t accept furniture that has tobacco or pet odors. To arrange pickup for furniture or to schedule a drop off time, please contact Movers and Shakers Furniture Ministry. So that we may provide you with a tax receipt and thank you for your donations, please include the following information with your donation: your name, address, phone number, email and a total estimated value of your items.
