Rainbow Village Program Covenant

  • All school-age children must attend school, our After-School Program and all other programming.
  • Children should be enrolled in schools serviced by Rainbow Village within three (3) days of admission.  Prior approval must be granted by Program Director to attend other schools.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.  No school-age children are allowed to stay home alone.
  • Those family members not in school and of working age must be willing and able to work and are expected to follow the same program guidelines as the parent.
  • Those enrolled in vocational programs or college must continue to meet work requirements.
  • The family must have a reliable form of transportation to participate in the program.
  • All referrals must be followed through with as recommended by the Rainbow Village Social Worker or Financial Program Director.
  • Life Skills Program attendance on Tuesday and Thursday evenings is mandatory.  All absences are considered unexcused and result in disciplinary action within the program. Employment is not considered an excused absence.
  • Each family is responsible for submitting financial reports as required by the Financial Program Director.
  • Rent is due monthly by the 1st day of the month.  Each family will receive a monthly statement detailing rent due based on their Individual Service Plan.
  • Families will be expected to add to their Rainbow Village savings account monthly based on their Individual Service Plan.
  • The family is responsible for maintaining their home, grounds and common areas.  Home inspections are conducted weekly.
  • All families work at least one workday per month.
  • No illegal drugs, alcohol or guns are allowed on the premises.  Rainbow Village requires random drug testing of its adult residents.
  • No smoking inside the homes.  All smoking materials must be disposed of properly.
  • No pets allowed.
  • No overnight guests are allowed.
  • For babysitters, you must submit a sitter’s information form and send it to the Rainbow Village Social Worker for prior approval.
  • All children must be in by 9:00 p.m.  Adults are to be in no later than 11:00 P.M. on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday) and midnight on weekends (Friday or Saturday).  This curfew also applies to visitors.  If you will be staying elsewhere or going out of town, prior to leaving you must notify the Case Manager of your departure and return date.
  • Failure to comply with any of the requirements of Rainbow Village will result in a Notice of Non-Compliance being issued.
