Sandra Cathy Chief Development Officer
Sandra Cathy is a seasoned community relations professional with a strong background in advocacy, resource development, and collaborative partnership formation. Sandra’s experience draws from her past service as Director of Government & Community Relations for the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce, Director of Governmental Affairs for the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, and Staff Director with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Atlanta’s Regional Leadership Institute.
Sandra’s depth of experience working with non-profits on local, regional, national and international levels brings a high caliber of resource development to our organization. She clearly understands the big picture and how the cycles of homelessness, poverty and domestic violence are all connected and impact the strength and vitality of our community overall.
Her primary charge at Rainbow Village is to champion our capital campaign efforts to enable the construction of our new all-inclusive village in Duluth. In addition, Sandra’s duties include overseeing marketing initiatives, grant and foundation relations, annual giving, partnership development and community relations.
Sandra is a loving wife and mom to two beautiful daughters. She’s an active member of Mount Bethel United Methodist Church and loves to cook, play bunko, and cheer her kids on in every way.
