Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club Sponsors Annual Charity BBQ Cookoff

The Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club are sponsoring their annual Charity BBQ Cookoff on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Rogers Bridge Park, 4291 Rogers Bridge Road, Duluth. Admission is free. Live country music, a pumpkin patch, cake walk and BBQ tasting is included. All proceeds go to support Duluth Co-op/Hands of Christ, Family Promise of Gwinnett County, Rainbow Village and the Pregnancy Resource Center of Gwinnett.

Be sure to take your family and enjoy a day of entertainment and fun at Duluth’s newest park which opened in February. The 24 acre park located a few blocks north of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard on Rogers Bridge Road. The Chattahoochee River flows along the northern boundary of the park. Approximately two-thirds of the park is an open grassy field with small wooded areas along the stream buffer and at the southern end of the park. The remains of a historic steel bridge (Rogers Bridge) span the Chattahoochee River.
