Sugarloaf Outdoor Living Tour to Benefit Rainbow Village – May 20 & 21

The Women’s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club Charities, Inc. will host their Third Annual Sugarloaf Outdoor Living Tour May 20-21, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Five homes within the Sugarloaf Country Club neighborhood will have their outdoor spaces, along with some indoor terrace levels, open for viewing. Tickets are $20 each and are available at the gate on the day of the event, or online at sugarloaftourtickets.com. Rainbow Village is blessed to be one of a select few non-profit benefactors of this event.  Help us spread the word and come join in the fun and delight in the beauty of outdoor living at Sugarloaf!

You can expect your visit to be entertaining and educational.  Two outdoor kitchen and cooking demonstrations will be presented, including fresh, spa cooking by Whole Foods Market and a demonstration of the Big Green Egg® smoker and grill.  On Friday Gwinnett Master Gardener “Plant Doctors” will be available to answer your gardening and landscaping questions and to diagnose what is going on with your problem plants or insects (feel free bring samples, but in containers, please!).  On Saturday more plant experts will be on site to show you how to make your containers come alive.

Several homes will have food samples from local vendors both days, including Steverino’s Pizza samples at a “Teen Sports Party” being hosted at one house, Yogli-Mogli® frozen yogurt and cupcake samples at a “Child’s Birthday Party” at another, and Frontera chips and salsa, along with margaritas (non-alcoholic of course!), at a “Mexican Fiesta Cocktail Party” at a third.
