Young Men’s Service League Makes a Huge Impact at Rainbow Village
January 16, 2011The Young Men’s Service League is a mother-son organization dedicated to serving their local communities and enhancing mother-son relationships. This unique 4-year program gets high school boys and their moms working together in areas of philanthropy, education and leadership. Rainbow Village is very blessed to have YSML’s NE Atlanta Chapter actively involved in our mission on a regular basis serving as reading buddies, homework helpers, food servers, party hosts, and much more.
YMSL teens are powerful role models to our kids. Their support and encouragement helps them learn, believe in themselves, and live up to their full potential. Patsy Miller, YSML’s Rainbow Village Philanthropy Chair shares, “Rainbow Village has been one of our favorite involvements. We love the interaction with the kids. Being able to share, encourage and play with the kids shows our teens first-hand what a difference they can make in the lives of others. It helps them truly ‘get’ what volunteering and giving is all about.”
Rainbow Village is truly blessed to be a benefactor of their time and are grateful for all they give to our families. To learn more about YMSL, visit ymslneatlanta.chapterweb.net.
